Q33、 What are the steps of introducing structured on-the-job training?


The 6 steps of S-OJIT are explained below:

1.Need evaluation- Decide whether work units are suited for using S-OJT

2.Operational analysis- Analyzing work units that need training, in order to grasp the key essence of work 

3.Nurturing and managing S-OJT instructors- Selecting and nurturing trainers, and provide appropriate managerial methods as encouragement

4.Preparing the S-OJT training modules: S-OJIT training modules should include training contents and other important information. For example, the training methods, teaching tools, and evaluation methods etc 

5.Implement S-OJT: Appropriately apply training modules, and implement training according to plan and map

6.Evaluate and solve the S-OJT execution problems: There are possible problems faced during the execution procedures that cause inability to reach the training goals; therefore evaluation and analysis must be done, and appropriate measures taken to solve the problems
