Q19、How to draw a knowledge map?
“Knowledge map” drawing can follow the steps below:
1.Core knowledge procedure definition- Make sure what are the most important knowledge work processes
2.Knowledge definition- According to organization needs, define which contents, forms, or characteristics can be considered “knowledge?”
3.Knowledge Audit- According to knowledge definition, stocktaking of the input and output of core knowledge processes is done, in order to ensure which materials fulfill the requirements
4.Knowledge categorization- Categorize knowledge materials that meet requirements according to organizational needs, and establish a categorization framework
5.The definition of Metadata- Define focusing on the attributes of knowledge materials available for searching in future, for example, subject, abstract, file type.
6.Establishing knowledge database- Organize knowledge materials according to the categorization framework and attribute information mentioned above and store in the system, so the users can search and apply
